Join Us at The Property Council of Australia’s Congress Masterclass: Enhancing Property Value Through Analytics and Optimisation
We are excited to announce that Bueno is hosting a masterclass at this year’s Property Council of Australia’s (PCA) Property Congress in Townsville from 23–25 October 2024. This prestigious event will bring together some of the biggest names in the industry for three days of discussions, networking, and learning.
As part of this year’s Congress, Bueno is proud to lead a masterclass on “Enhancing Property Value Through Analytics and Optimisation”. This session will delve into the critical role that building analytics and optimisation play in maintaining and enhancing building performance in the post-COVID era.
Key Focus Areas of the Masterclass:
Tenant Comfort & Retention: With more employees returning to the office, ensuring a comfortable, healthy, and energy-efficient environment is essential. Analytics and optimisation tools can improve tenant satisfaction and retention, making buildings more attractive and valuable.
Prioritising Capital Projects with Data: Utilising data from building systems can help owners and managers identify where to allocate capital for projects that will have the most significant long-term impact. This strategic approach is key in reducing future operating costs and improving portfolio performance.
Reducing Operating Costs: Through advanced analytics, building owners and operators can identify inefficiencies and opportunities for cost-saving measures in energy consumption, maintenance, and overall operations, ensuring peak performance at a reduced cost.
Why This Masterclass Matters: The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the property industry is undeniable. Lower occupancy rates during the pandemic resulted in decreased energy consumption, and many owners enjoyed a temporary reprieve from high operating costs. However, as buildings fill back up, energy use is expected to rise sharply, putting pressure on building performance metrics and asset values.
Building Optimisation is a powerful tool for addressing these challenges, but it remains widely misunderstood and underutilised in the industry. This session, featuring Hugh Amoyal, Global CEO of Bueno, and Varun Nair, General Manager of Asset Management at Scentre Group, will shed light on what “true” building optimisation looks like and how it can drive performance improvements in the new post-pandemic era.
Attendees will gain insight into:
- How to leverage building and asset data for smarter decision-making
- Ways to improve NABERS ratings and other critical performance metrics
- Strategies for enhancing overall property value by optimising building operations
